*yawn*

I have been SOOOOO tired this week. I've created something every night, including: ATCs for the concroption swap, some greeting cards, and an entire LO made just with things on my desk at school. I just haven't had the energy to post. Still don't.

Here's my favorite thing I made. Insipred by my fellow ConCroptionDT member, Joscie. I love how she uses part of the Jeni Bowlin diecut papers on her LOs. I had to try it. :) Thanks Joscie!
I tried many times to photograph this one...there's just too much stupid glare.

Scrappy Weekend

My dad's birthday was yesterday. I made him a card and this frame.

Also made this mini purse out of a bag that held buttons.

Scrap Therapy

This has been festering in me for a few months now, the end of a friendship for no reason. It still hurts. Last night as I lay awake in bed thinking about all the pain it caused me I thought I should scrapbook it. So here it is, pain and a lot of black paint.



Part of me thought of sending this to her (she scrapbooks too) but it probbaly wouldn't be well recieved, if the silence over the last few months is anything to go on.

The LO so nice I scraplifted it twice!

Found this LO on UnPubbed and love it so I did two variations of it.

I like the "Pink" one better, am submitting it to them.

The other is for another contest for CTMH. (I made it last night after my lsat post)

ATC #2

Stayed home sick from school today. Well, went in and then came home- I had a fever and didn't want to infect my kids, they were actually all there today. They thought my new pink hair was cool. LOL I couldn't get into the Dr's office so I slept all day, and am feeling much better. My head is all clogged up though and my ear is driving me crazy. A little while ago I made this. My 2nd ATC... which ended up backwards. Argh. maybe am not totally better.

I thought of Jena while making it, so she will probbaly get it in a future package.

Yesterday & Today's craftiness.

Yesterday I made this card from a kit for our janitor who is moving to another school. Which sucks because she was awesome and we love her. :(










Today I made my very first ATC (artist trading card) I got the 7 Gypsies card holder and hope to do a series of Josh themed cards with lyrics to Josh songs. Josh's pic (taken by me in Vegas 4-7-07) is the front of the card & the lyrics are on the back (in both English & Italian).

Friday Night Crop

Friday Night I went to the monthly crop and got a ton of stuff done. :)

We stayed until 2am. So some of these were made on Saturday.

Happy AZ Statehood Day

I don't celebrate that icky love day. AZ became a state in 1912 on this day, so Happy birthday AZ, and apparently Oregon too.

Proof I am Not Normal

This first one I made today for the Scrap Mojo challenge this month. It was scrap an Equation & use red. Piano hands=Love. ( I did indeed take that picture of Josh's beautiful hands). I've had that piano diecut forever and was glad to finally use it. Yes, that is dental floss with josh's picture on it. It was born at my house, but now is all over the world. Grobies take pics of it everywhere. These are pics of Sally's British joshFloss visiting the Petrified Forest in Arizona. :D & that's me flossing the fossil's teeth. Fossil Floss. I shoulda called it that! maybe Sally will steal that idea. This was based off a sketch from "Gettin' Sketchy"
No update tomorrow, I'll be at Parent Teacher Conferences until late, but I'll craft the last of my VD bookmarks when I get home & post them thursday or Friday.

I've been commissioned to make a Grammy scrapbook for someone who was there.

Hippy Hippy Shake

Last night's craftiness... was my homework for belly dancing class.

We were to design a costume. I took the paper person outline and cut her out of cardstock that matched my skin tone and decorated her. What can I say, I'm an overachiever.

For the top I want some patterned black fabric with a red sash/hipscarf. The bottom I want a solid black skirt over layed with a red panel skirt of some sumptuous fabric.

I also made more VD bookmarks for my kids. I decided to make them all different.

Home Again

I wasn't able to scrap while away at my teaching conference, but I continued to make things everyday. I also enjoyed Vanilla Bean Cheesecake (of DOOM!) & tunes on my jPod. (That is not a typo, that is its name...as you can see it has a picture of Josh on it..hehe). I did get to go scrapshopping at my fave place and spent over $200. Bad me.

I added to my "This is Me" journal. I only uploaded one of the 3 pages (the other 2 were my 5 quirks & my goals for 2008- if you wnat to see them I can upload those too). Click on it to see it large enough to read it. This one about my fave movies.

I drew a funky Robot on some white cardboard(from a game I bought while down there).

I also made this tetrahedron (triangular pyramid) out of a paper plate in a workshop I went to on geometry on Friday (at the conference I was at). It was an AWESOME workshop and I can't wait to do this stuff with my kids!

After I got home last night I made these bookmarks.

I am going to make my kids bookmarks for VD since I don't believe in commercially supporting the holiday of stupidity & evil. Which bookmark do you like best? I may end up just making them all different ones. I dunno.

Not looking forward to tomorrow, laundry (I have to babysit my washer becuase it overflows if I don't let the water out bit by bit) & going to school to do my grades. Parent teacher conferences are this week and I have to get that done. The papers are all graded, but the grades aren't in the computer yet so I can print out reports. That's going to take me a couple HOURS. *sigh*

I scrapped too!

Ididn't JUSt make a snowman today, though that was fun. I spent a few hours in my scraproom. I finished my minibook and made 2 Los all using the February conCroption kit. The page with all the words was the most fun. I asked all my friends to tell me one word they would use to describe me. Those are the words....some of them are quite creative. Heh.

I call him Yarg, the Canadian Snow Pirate. There is a Canadian flag near him, but my camera batteries died before I got a pic of him with his flag. Sadness.

Crafty stuff

I began February's crafting with a birthday card for a little boy...
and the last two days have been working on a minibook about Kaitee's 1st Birthday using Concroption's February kit. It's nowhere near done, but here are a few pages. The first one is the cover of the book, the 2nd is the title page inside.

I have a couple more pages done, but blogger is being evil & this is all it wants to upload, so you'll have to wait to see them. I probably won't be posting again until Friday or Saturday because on Tuesday night I'm going out of town for 3 days for a teaching conference. I will still make something everyday though! :D
