Weekly Update

I took these pictures of Kaitee on Wednesday.
She kept splashing herslef and yelling "I like it!"
It was adorable.
Card made with the left overs from the page above.
My BFF and I dancing like crazy people to Pirates Remixed.

Pictures & papers chosen by my BFF for me to scrap on the anniversary of this concert.
Pictures taken by me.
Made this mini with leftovers from the next 2 pages.
The inside pages are library cards!
Scarlet Lime August Kit.
No title for this one... but I like it anyway.

It says she (hearts) bubbles. The heart is behind the words and kind of hard to see.

My Top 5 most played songs on iTunes. All Josh. Go figure.
Scrappy news: Last week I won the concroption organization contest & the weekly project catwalk challenge (for my "awake" page).

My best friend and I made these magic wands and flowery head wreaths last night. They are to sell at the medieval fantasy fest here in town at the end of September. I usually just paint faces, but I decided ot expand my booth this year. I'll be making lots more of these.
The wand display was made out of a pringles can.

Craftiness

Summer makes me lazy and I don't feel like uploading pics as often. Hence the lack of updateness since the 1st.

OK... either I was unclear on my directions, or no one is interested in my drawings...I think it's the former as the last post got more comments than any other. So...let me rephrase my directions...

If you are interested in one of the 3 things I am offering... you need to tell me which one (or more)!

Via Random Drawings...To be held on JUNE 9
1 A Kimmy Scrappy Kit
2. A Custom Kimmy Creation or 2
Tell me which you are interested in... or if you are interested in both!
SALLY. I wrote you down for both. :D

3. {4} Mystery Envelopes with scrapbooking things in them on the condition that you make something using everything in the envelope and email me a picture of it so I can post it here. They will all be the same... I want to see what 4 scrappy chicks can do with the same stuff!
I HAVE TWO LEFT!!! You tell me you wnat one and it's yours!
Jeni & Tracy got the first 2... can't wait to see what you do w/ them!

On Monday I painted faces at the library. This picture is from last fall. I didn't bring the camera this time. : ( I only painted bugs anyway... rather boring & none as cute as this one.
Miss Abby the kitty.

A couple of cards...

Some Travel ATCs for the ConCropSwap

And a LO I like a whole lot! Could just be because it stars Josh and me...

Fixed

I had computer freakout this morning. Luckily I have a wonderful friend who is the computer whisperer. He had it fixed in less than half an hour. If I had taken it in to some place I'd have been with out it for a week or more and would have had to pay a couple hundred bucks to fix it... the motherboard overheated and wiped out my bios...not something that's fixable unless you have that computer knowledge. Must say I'm overly thankful for my friend.

Saturday I went to a Stampin' Up card class and made two of each of these cards. It was fun, I'd never been to one before. We used to go to CTMH ones once a month. I didn't buy any Stampin' Up stamps... but I did buy a new stamp scrubber, my old one is just yuck.

Today I went to a friend's house for another friend's birthday crop. I made a minibook using the March ConCroption Kit (and some other stuff) which should be posted on ConCroption soon. Here is a sneak peek. I really love how it came out. It's the first time I've played iwth one of these acrylic albums. Such fun!

I also made 2 Josh pages. Not very exciting. Both from the same song at different shows. The red shirt page is from Anaheim and the other one is from Phoenix. The accent on that page is actually a Christmas ornament from the $1 bin at Michael's. I was going it use it as a stamp, but liked the way it looked on there. There are small silver chandeliers all over that paper. I love Hambly.

I'm going to create photo collages from the other pics from that song on the opposite pages. Why the Chandeliers?? There were chandeliers on the screen behind him while he sang this one, which is one of my faves.

New Toy!

I got my Bind It All today, that I won in the ConCroption February DT contest... Haven't played with it yet (have to watch the instruction dvd...and I feel half dead now) but I took it out of the box and petted it. Here it is basking in the glow of my Josh scrap lamp. It's the sexiest lamp in the universe.

The last two scrap pages I have done were both done while exhausted, and I felt I had no mojo...despite that I'm pretty pleased with both of them.... I think.

Page one was a lift from Gettin' Sketchy. The picture is one someone took of ME! & Josh! in Anaheim. I'm handing him handcuffs to go with the hat, hence the title. Yeah this picture makes me insanely happy.

Page 2 is from picturesmy friend or I took, (we both took tons of pictures and theya re mixed up in my box...I don't remember which ones I took...) in Phoenix on March 17, 2005. It's almost my Josh-a-versarry. LOL. This was the concert where a friend and I gave him a scrapbook we made for him. It's kind of a bittersweet memory as this is the friend that I scrapped about last month, the one who no longer talks to me. I think I am going to scrapbook those pics on Monday to commemorate the event. (The ones of me handing him the book). I've scrapbooked most of this concert and have tons better pics of him since then. I've upgraded my camera and learned some things about concert photography.

My sunburn has started to peel. What a fabulous feeling. Ugh. I got some snails for my classroom today. I hear they multiply like rabbits. How exciting. LOL. I think my kids may all get some to take home at the end of the year. LOL. I started cleaning my scraproom today... moved half of my albums to a shelf in the living room. They were overflowing my scrap closet floor. Moved most of the finished ones out of there.

weekend scrappage

I created 5 things on Friday which left my end of Feb. Concroption project total at 25 and won me the contest. Though I think Joscie deserves a prize too since she worked her butt off and made 18 things while being a mommy. No way could I have made half that stuff if I had kids running around! So Joscie, email me your addy and I'm going to send you a little surprise for being so awesome! I tried commenting on your blog, but blogger is being evil to me today.

Here are the 2 things I scrapped this weekend. Both using LOVE, Elsie "Zoe" stuff that I had been hording until February was over.

I took this picture yesterday, my hair is no longer bright pink, it is now rich red, burgandy with a few pink streaks we didn't cover up becuase we ran out of dye. I love the little BamPop unicorn stamp. It made me squee. I sanded the embossed paper so the rainbows would stand out.

"I love your Soul" is something I often say to my dog Bindi. She's the best dog ever and I love every part of her. She's so sweet!

I am too tired to upload all my LOs from the past week here. This is my favorite project made for concroption this month. I love these pictures and I love these Teresa Collins papers! It's just one of my most favorite memories ever.

If you wnat to see the rest of the things I didn't post hop over to concroption.com and look at my gallery there... or my SisTv Gallery. They're already posted in both places.

Friday Night Crop

Friday Night I went to the monthly crop and got a ton of stuff done. :)
We stayed until 2am. So some of these were made on Saturday.
Squishable Kaitykins. Don't really love this page.
This was me breaking the rules at the Petrified Forest.
Sally & I had fun taking pictures of our reflections at the Petrified Forest.

This one was a misunderstanding on my part. That's what I heard him say, but really he said "Hello, who is this?" It was too funny not to scrap. (LA 3-31-07) I took the picture too.
My best friends Sally & Lou & I at Talaquepaque in Sedona.

Josh and Angelique singing Pearls in Anahiem, Ca on 8-25-07 . I love how this came out. :D Another one of my pictures.

A minibook that I am going to fill with quotes I like.
