Candle & Card Gift

I made this for a friend's birthday.
I used Scarlet Lime's latest project kit
and sketch from Get Sketchy (for the card).

Please go vote for me!

Kind of sad that in the middle of this design team search they changed the "prize" and decided not to pick new DT members, but I could still win a free kit, so go vote for my page please! Though I guess it's okay, because there's another DT I have my eye on, and the people on that site are much more friendly, so hopefully I get chosen for that one instead. :)

It's my "Lil' Pumpkin" page. I'm "lostinadream" over there. :)

Hybrid Mini

Posting this for one of the ladies from the crop tonight who wanted to see it.

I took a book from Snapfish and outfitted it with my own scrappy supplies
(mostly from the Scarlet Lime Oct. project kit) to make this super easy/fun mini!
It was inspired by a challenge over on Scrapbook Get- Away, which is a super fun new little online community/store. Check it out HERE.

The cover was clear so I added rub-ons, stickers & buttons to fancy it up. There are also some rub-ons on the inside page under the other ones to connect it all. These are my fave pages from the inside of the book.

If you want to see the rest... Click here!

Thanks for looking!!

Who Are You.. who who, who who?

My mom spotted this guy in our neighborhood this summer, but this is the first time she's seen him out in the day time. Way up in the tree above their house just sitting there staring at her in a creepy sort of way. She called me up and asked me to bring over my camera with the zoom lens.

Fall Fun!

Aunt Amy & I took our cute niece Kaitee to the pumpkin patch & Harvest Festival yesterday.
Kaitee didn't know what a pumpkin patch was but boy was she excited! I think we'll have to make it an annual trip. Here are some of my fave photos from our trip!

Kaitee loved riding in the wheelbarrow! We had so many pumpkins that we popped the tire!
Aunt Amy & I took turns pushing her.

My cute lil' punkin waiting for the hayride.

Pickin' Punkins!

Takin' a break. Pumpkins make great chairs!

My fave pic of the day!

Pumpkin love! She was hugging & kissing the pumpkins in the wheelbarrow.

Miss Kaitee in our trunk full of pumpkins.

Spoiled by aunties eating some ice cream.... until bad Auntie Kimmy tried to steal some!

Round 2...

Please go vote for me again in the UA "Got Talent?" Contest!
Over HERE.
Thanks!

Here's a closer look at the LO I entered!
The challenge was to use old stuff and make it new.
I used scrapbook paper that was 4 years old... cut it apart and made embellies out of it. I also used some cork, and an potato bag for texture. I jazzed everything up with glimmer mist, paint, & diamond glaze! The rub-ons I used in my title were so old I had to hand letter most of them.

ALSO...
New challenge up at KIDDIE LIT!
COME PLAY WITH US!!
Just click the blinkie in my sidebar.

Here's my Alice in Wonderland inspired page.I just love the Jabberwocky poem. I had to memorize it in HS, now more than 10 years later I can still recite most of it!
