Yesterday I made some more of ATC cards for the crush swap (Colin Firth & Josh which you have already seen), and Monday I made a LO for a contest which I ma not allowed to post yet.

Now I think I'm gonna go work on one of my minibooks in progress. :)

Things created recently but not posted yet...mainly becuase I was too tired/busy to upload pics.
School has eaten my face this week. 19 more days. I did create something everyday this week... and so far this year. That's almost 5 months of making thinsg EVERYDAY. :D

I also made more cards and decorated a candle at that party. Before the party I made a present for a friend which I am exceptionaly proud of, but want to be a surprise so I am not posting it here until she gets it.

Josh Groban + Paul Simon

I promise a post with pictures of things I made recently soon... I am just too tired to upload them from my camera. School has been a killer this week.

I know some of you who read this blog enjoy Josh Groban. This week he did a stint of concerts in NYC with his hero Paul Simon. Apparently he was so excited that he "squeaked." LOL My friend Gayle was there and she said that he was just over the moon. I've always adored his rendition of America It's one of my faves, ever. Well, he did a duet with Paul Simon on Bridge Over Troubled Water and sang another one called Jeruselum.

So much for my self imposed Josh fast. I'm still going to starve myself of the songs on the AWAKE LIVE dvd until May 6th...(go wtach the preview on that link. OMG.) it will just make it taste that much better when I get it! :)

My random facts:
1- I loathe bananas. Even the smell of them makes me gag. In fact I have outlawed them in my classroom. My students tease me about them, the love coming up and showing me the word banana in books.

2- I am rather obsessed with PIANOS, but I can't even read music. Someday I am going to buy a piano so I can force myself to learn.

3-I have 3 Josh Groban autographs... one on a checkbook cover given to me by a friend, one on a quilt I bought, and one that I obtained myself on a photo I took of him.

4- I haven't been on a date in 8 years. And you know what? I love being single. I just miss the cuddles.

5- I don't mind bugs, except cockroaches & spiders... those are icky.

6- I used to have pet rats. They were named after Backstreet Boys.

7- I used to write horror stories... but stopped when someone I killed off in a story disappeared.

Friday I went to a crop and produced ONE page.

I took this Rusty Pickle class, from Mr. Rusty Pickle himself, last night in Winslow where we made this "life" book only I of course changed mine to Josh... hehe. I'll post more pics once I stick things inside it.

Weekend scraps

I've been working hard creating things for the Sisterhood of Scrap challenges this week.

It's been fun! I'm challenging myself to complete them all even though I missed the deadline on one of them. I combined a couple of them.

Here are some of the things I made the last 2 days.

Challenge: Flowers & 3 tags

This one is also my Concroption LO for the month.

Challenge: 4 Pastel colors

Challenge: Use a handful of buttons, rainbow colors, handwritten saying in someone else's handwriting (that's my best friend's writing there) one pic and some ribbon. Not sure I like this one...I may replace the pic with one of Kaitee.

Challenge: Bingo inspired.Most of this Lo is filled iwth the joshly bingo card...so I'm not lovin' it. I wasn't able to do much. I think this could be impreoved with some M&M stickers...that's what we used ot mark them.

Challenges:

1-a new LO/10 buttons/spring/flowers

2-monochrome LO- one photo, one pp, one word title, one color

3-connect 4 circles

Also I have been invited to be on the DT for Ready, Set, Scrap ,an LJ challenge community.No application or anything just an email saying " I love your work, will you be on my DT?" I was beyond excited!

I made these three Lo's today.
It was all springy outside, so I took this LO and hung it in a tree.
I went a little bling crazy. LOL.

This was inspired by a picture of a quilt.

Josh Mini Mini Book

This is the teeny tiny minibook I made the other day.
It's 2x2 inches. As someone commented on Sistv, I now have Josh in the palm of my hand. hehe.

My Evil Uterus

My uterus was being evil today so... I scrapped it. I wanted ot rip it out and scrap it, but the paper piecing was fun. :) For the latest Scrap Mojo challenge (use office supplies & lingo)

A Josh LO, I used some pieces of old window screen on this one. Love the texture of it!

A Josh ATC. Used new Heidi Swapp & 7 gypsies. Gotta fix the handwritten part it says "This is me alone" but it smeared. :( The back is houndstooth (LOVE) and says My December on it. You can see it in my SisTv gallery.

Also, made a mega mini album (2x2 in) that fits in my hand. It will have it's own post later.

I have not added pics to this yet, but here's a peek at the mini I made on Sunday. It's from a kit by Embellish It! I'll take pics of each page once I get pictures in it. Once I decide what to do with it.
